Today was @sterstatus Final Judging Day… and somehow, “judging day” feels far too small for what today really was. 🫶

I sit here tonight with a heart so incredibly full, thinking about the year we’ve shared, the emotions, the organized chaos and laughter, the nerves, the ridiculous moments, the difficult ones, the behind-the-scenes madness, and the kind of memories you simply cannot manufacture.

But more than anything, I am in awe of the growth.
Today I didn’t just see finalists standing in front of us. I saw women who have stretched, stumbled, found their voices, surprised themselves and become more of who they already were. And there is something incredibly powerful about witnessing that transformation from the other side.

I felt proud today. Properly, ridiculously proud. 🥹
And then there’s this crew… What started as people brought together for a purpose somehow became friendships, inside jokes, safe spaces, cheerleaders and a little family of our own. We laughed hard, we felt deeply, we celebrated loudly, and somewhere between all of it, we became part of each other’s stories.

Perhaps that is what stays with me most. Every woman has a story behind the version of her you see. Every confident smile has chapters you know nothing about. Every woman in that room today had her own “me too” that quiet recognition that says, I’ve felt that. I’ve doubted myself too. I’ve had to find myself too. I’ve had to choose myself too.

Today was extraordinary.

Not because everything was perfect, but because it was real.

And tonight, looking back at these faces and these memories, I realise that sometimes the greatest privilege isn’t standing in the spotlight yourself…

It’s having a front-row seat while someone else discovers theirs. ✨

My heart is full. My cup is overflowing. And damn… what a year it has been.

My husband, my gym partner, my favourite competition… and the one person who knows that “just one more set” is never actually one more set.

This birthday felt different. 🫶

Not because of the presents, the flowers, the cake or the celebrations, (beautiful as they all were) ,but because, somewhere along the way, the celebration became something within me.

Today I found myself quietly proud. Proud of how far I have come. Proud of the things I have achieved, but perhaps even more proud of the things I have survived, learned, unlearned and grown through. Proud of the woman I am still becoming.

Another birthday is no longer simply another year older. It is another year God has graciously given me, another year to live, to love, to grow, to make mistakes, to try again, to dream bigger and to fulfil whatever purpose He still has waiting for me.

And then, woven into all of that reflection, came the people. 🤍

The surprises from my husband and daughter. The love from some incredibly special people I get to call work friends. The flowers, laughter, cake, spoils and little moments I never expected. And every single message, phone call and birthday wish that found its way to me today.

Some messages were only a few words, but I could feel the intention behind them. They were real. Personal. Heartfelt. And they meant more to me than I could ever properly explain.

So today I don't only celebrate a birthday. I celebrate the life behind it.

The lessons. The risks. The achievements. The difficult chapters. The beautiful ones. The people who stayed. The people who arrived. The woman those years have shaped, and the woman God is not finished with yet.

My heart is incredibly full.

Here's to another year of becoming, experiencing, loving, laughing, taking the chances... and trusting that there is still so much more written for me. 🤍

Thank you for making me feel so deeply celebrated today.
