OWN YOUR GAZE campaign with @catrice.cosmetics SHOT BY ICONIC @ellenvonunwerth - thank you so so much for having me 💕💕💕 *pinch me moment* It’s been a little quiet here lately… honestly, I’ve gotten so bad at managing my time — or maybe life has just been a little overwhelming lately? 🫠 It always feels like there’s never enough time for the things I love, and so many moments I want to share end up slipping through the cracks. And this is something I’m so proud of!

I’m back, and so, so excited to finally share this with you! ⭐️✨✨ I’m part of the new @catrice.cosmetics campaign for the Hyperlash mascara and owning my magic 🪄

I know I’m strong, stronger than you can see with your eyes, but honestly, I hate being forced to be. And that’s the whole truth. 🎲

(12) Colombia is home to a diverse population, including Indigenous, Afro-Colombian, Mestizo, and European-descendant communities. During Spanish colonization, many Indigenous peoples were systematically killed, displaced, or died from violence, forced labor, and introduced diseases, while millions of Africans were enslaved and brought to the region. The lasting effects of colonization, slavery, discrimination, and decades of armed conflict continue to shape Colombian society, contributing to deep social and economic inequalities. Many of the families who later settled in neighborhoods like Comuna 13 had been displaced by poverty or violence, while years of limited government investment left these communities especially vulnerable to exclusion and crime. Once considered one of the most dangerous neighborhoods in Medellín, Comuna 13 was heavily affected by armed conflict, gang violence, and military operations. Today, it stands as a symbol of transformation, celebrated for its vibrant street art, local culture, music, and community-led tourism. Its growing popularity has brought both opportunities and challenges. Tourism has generated jobs, supported local businesses, and helped reshape the neighborhood’s image. At the same time, critics argue that it has also encouraged poverty tourism, where visitors consume stories of violence without fully understanding their lasting impact on residents. In addition, the economic benefits of tourism are not shared equally, meaning that not all members of the community benefit from its success.
