📍 Milan was truly that girl.

I didn’t expect to fall in love with her, but somewhere between the cathedral spires, the quiet courtyards, and the fun night scenes, I understood her.

Milan doesn’t try to charm you. She just lets you notice her. She’s polished, but can also be raunchy, a little guarded, and beautiful once you slow down enough to see it.

Postcards from 📍 Calabria.

Honestly, I think a piece of me is still floating in the crystal-clear turquoise waters at Spiaggia Michelino. Tropea and Parghelia are both beautiful.

It’s actually one of the most economically challenged regions in Italy. Without the massive, glossy tourist crowd, everything here feels far more grounded. It’s known for simple, local staples—think fresh olive oil, spicy Calabrian chilies, sweet Tropea onions, and ’nduja—paired with a dramatic cliffside coast that easily rivals Amalfi. The best part? Instead of paying €18 for a drink in Positano, you’re enjoying that similar view with a €4 spritz.

Spending time here made me realize how much power there is in choosing where we travel. Bringing your business down south isn’t just an incredible, budget-friendly escape—it directly supports the people keeping these traditional coastal towns alive.

For context:
•This is my 3rd class (only 30 minutes per class!)
•My current comfort level: I know how to tread, float, do basic swimming, and I am completely fine going in 10ft or deeper water.
•Why I’m here: I wanted to learn proper techniques, how to conserve energy, how to properly breathe, and how to ‘actually’ swim.
•What I didn’t expect: Learning how to dive on Day 3 of a beginner adult swim class! (Kidding, class was over, just tried it. We love you Anthony!)

Eating in Japan was genuinely exciting. Meals felt delicious, thoughtful, and intentional in a way that never got old — whether it was something special or something simple grabbed between plans. I looked forward to every meal, sometimes even planned the day around it, because eating felt like part of the experience, not just a pause from it.
