One concern dentists have mentioned:

“Will two matrix bands affect my contacts?”

Fair Question.

biband can also be used with just one band thickness.

Here’s how.

Do you restore back-to-back Class II fillings using two matrix bands or one?

Back-to-back Class II restorations are time-consuming and tedious and they shouldn’t be.

Throwback to this convention where biband matrix started getting real traction.

At the time, it was already a functional prototype in dentists’ hands.

Since then, it’s been further developed and now comes in multiple sizes to adapt to different clinical situations.

We’re currently in our clinical trial phase, focused on documenting results and getting it into more practices.

biband was designed to simplify back-to-back restorations with faster workflow, more consistent results.

I’m putting together a small group of early adopters who will get:
• Early access
• Direct input during rollout
• Exclusive launch pricing

One of the clinical trial participants texted me to tell me she’s loving the biband and then asked if she could post it on her mommy dentist page. Happy that we can give some time back to those busy mommy’s! by @bibandmatrix

Comment “biband” for early adopter promo

Traditional sectional matrices get the job done but biband changes the setup entirely.

Faster placement. More stable during the procedure. Less time dealing with separate parts shifting or getting in the way. A smoother, more efficient approach to Class II restorations.

And it’s not just for back-to-back Class IIs dentists are also using biband for single Class IIs as well.

Designed to simplify one of the most tedious procedures in restorative dentistry.

The biggest challenge with back-to-back Class II’s is the setup according to a survey of 415 dentists.

Instability, multiple components, constant adjustments.

biband simplifies that into a single, stable placement.

Fewer steps. More control. More predictable outcomes.

Welcome to the future of back-to-back Class IIs:

I’m constantly trying to refine my Class II technique and figure out what’s actually the fastest, most efficient, and most predictable way to get a solid result every time.

Because let’s be honest, back-to-back Class IIs can humble you real quick. Contacts, contours, flash, open margins— one small thing off and suddenly you’re reworking everything.

My colleague @lancedrg is the inventor of @bibandmatrix and he’s been perfecting the product for over a decade. I personally think he’s nailed it, because I just tried the BiBand dental matrix system, and it had already changed the way I will approach these restorations from now on.

What I’ve noticed:
• More consistent, tight contacts without fighting the band
• Better contour right out of the gate (less time shaping and adjusting)
• Way less stress trying to adapt the matrix perfectly
• More efficiency, especially when you’ve got multiple Class IIs in a row
• Overall more predictable results, which is everything in a busy schedule. AND I think my EFDA will love this product.

It’s one of those things where the prep and technique didn’t change but the outcome did. Not saying this is the only way to do it, but for me, this has been a game changer.

If you’re struggling with Class IIs or just want to refine your workflow, it might be worth looking into. If you want more details or how I’m using it step-by-step, shoot me a DM 🤍
