I’ve always believed in facing challenges head-on, but the last nine months brought experiences that truly tested my strength in unimaginable ways.

For an extended period, life shrouded me in shadows, even as I tried to maintain a brave front, pretending that everything was okay. One storm after another battered my world, shaking foundations I once thought were solid. Waves of depression settled in, and it felt like I was navigating unending valleys of sleepless nights and tears, while mountains of worry loomed over me daily. There were nights when hope seemed to be nothing more than a faint whisper, barely discernible.

In this tumultuous journey, I found myself retreating—not out of desire, but out of necessity. It became essential for me to fight, to protect what mattered dearly, and to carve out space for myself and my family amidst the chaos.

But today, as I celebrate my birthday, I choose to embrace the light. 🌅 Not because the storms have disappeared, but because I am still here. I stand resolute, still dreaming, still hoping, and continuously praying for the brighter days ahead.

This year of my life marks a new chapter for me: may my heart find healing, and may my past no longer cloud my ability to appreciate the present. I long to breathe freely again, to laugh wholeheartedly, and to live authentically once more. I am committed to transforming my pain into purpose and every scar into a testament worth sharing about the year 2024/25.

I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude to all of you who prayed for me, reached out, and held space for me during my silence. Your kindness became the gentle light that illuminated my darkest nights.

Here’s to healing, even though it’s a gradual process for my family and me. Here’s to nurturing hope and welcoming new beginnings. 🌸✨

I would appreciate your well-wishes and prayers during this time.

Happy birthday to me, Bibi, for whom Elroi has shown and continues to show immense mercy.
