Today makes it 3 years since my Mum passed and everything I said last year in this video is still true today. Grief is something I still haven’t been able to make sense of because it’s just 🫠🫠🫠 (iykyk).

But I’m grateful that I have memories of my Mum. That in itself is a blessing. Indeed, she lived, laughed and loved. Most importantly, she made it to eternity with the Lord. That’s my greatest joy about her death.

I’ll love and miss you always Mummy 🕊️♥️

Let’s go!

Because everyone and their grandpas have been talking about Naseem oils, I decided to follow them. I haven’t regretted my decision.

Little me, You were always so bright, bold, and full of dreams — carefree in the way only a child can be. You didn’t know that you would grow up and face moments so tough they’d make you want to quit living and breathing. But God made a way. He turned every hurt into purpose and every shame into glory.

Big me is proud of you. In this past year especially, whenever I sat to think about you, I found myself rediscovering you — the real me. You’re the girl I’ve always been, before the fears and weight of life tried to subdue her. Thank you for holding on. Thank you for staying. Thank you for being so true to yourself.

Happy birthday to my mother’s first daughter AKA my big sister @folakemi_odesola !!!

You’re the first creative person I knew. I remember being a child and just seeing your drawings and sketches in your room, some framed, some just around your bed. It always just seemed so common for you and I’ve always been in awe of that. Then I got older and realized that writing, painting and other things were added to your bank of creativity (for real guys, my sister does everything, no kidding 😂)

Interestingly, as creative as you are, you’re also orderly and structured. Not many people have this balance of qualities, but you do. It’s really not a coincidence that you’re an architect 😂.

Thank you for all the sacrifices you make that are seen and unseen.
Thank you for your “Yes” to God’s call that has given thousands of people a different purview of their lives.
Thank you for being a good wife and an intentional parent and amongst many other hats you wear.
Thank you for always helping me in primary and secondary school with all my holiday assignments that involved drawing, painting and making things from scratch (periscope, food chain, making mini farm tools and the list goes on). I think I would have been so sad if those assignments didn’t turn out right because I really liked school back then and so they mattered to me a lot 😭😂
Thank you for helping me with my poetry writing.
Thank you for the sound advice you give me whenever I have issues and I don’t know what to do.

I pray that today you’re launched into a new era of grace and favour from God in Jesus Name.
The works of your hands are blessed. God will grant you ideas that will generate more wealth and not only will you be blessed, you’ll also be a blessing to others because you will have more than enough.

I truly felt loved and honoured by your words and prayers. You all are proof that God has indeed blessed me with the gift of men.

It’s that time of the year again and I can’t help but reflect on some things.

I see myself growing in patience, in wisdom, choosing to focus on what’s working over what isn’t , trusting in the Lord everyday and casting my cares upon Him as often as they arise.

As great as these things are (because this hasn’t always been my story), I’m at peace knowing that this is only the beginning and the best is truly yet to come.

To the one whom the Lord has called His chosen generation, royal priesthood, holy nation and special people (1 Peter 2:9 NKJV)

Today is your birthday, Mummy, and you would have been 64. It feels so weird that you’re not here with us anymore. I’ll be having a random thought and then it hits me - “Mummy isn’t here anymore.” It’s like a reality check every single time.
As much as I miss you and wish you were here to receive all the flowers you deserve for everything you did for our family, I find so much comfort knowing you’re finally in heaven. There’s no more pain or sadness there, and I just know you’re having a blast celebrating up there.
You always loved a cause to celebrate and “Dancing Queen” is just one of the many songs that make me think of you - you lived, you loved and you laughed.
It’s only been 6 months since you left us, Mummy, but your memory is forever etched in my heart.

December 2023 dump!

Slide 1- I started eating better and I can see the results already 💪🏽💪🏽

Slide 2- My nephew, Andre, turned 1 🥹❤️

Slide 3- The Camp meeting I will never recover from🥹. One of the things God did was He showed me a version of myself I never knew existed and I was mind blown.

Slide 4- Officially rebooted for life 💃🏽💃🏽💃🏽

Slide 5- A Sunday with my people ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Slide 6- One of my current reads. A very practical prayer book I recommend everyone to have. Thank you @pst_iren Sir for being devoted to our progress and joy in the faith 🙏🏽

Slide 8- 2023 threw me into the fiery furnace, but I emerged unscathed and stronger! Glory be to God 🙏🔥

Heading into 2024, I carry the Ambience of God everywhere I go and take ownership of everything that has my name on it 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽

It's my birthday 🥳🥳🥳!!!!

I'm so glad to see the woman I'm becoming. My life has changed far more than I ever imagined it would (for the better of course)

I've learned how to navigate through life in the great and tough seasons and I'm way better for being adaptable.

I'm glad for the moment I accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Saviour. Embracing His love has changed me for life!
