7 Do not be deceived; God is not mocked, for you reap whatever you sow. 8 If you sow to your own flesh, you will reap corruption from the flesh; but if you sow to the Spirit, you will reap eternal life from the Spirit. 9 So let us not grow weary in doing what is right, for we will reap at harvest time, if we do not give up. 10 So then, whenever we have an opportunity, let us work for the good of all, and especially for those of the family of faith.

God may have a sense of humor but he's not joking here. The analogy Jesus is giving here is If there is something in your life which causes you to continuously sin, get rid of it now! Because there will remain no sacrifice for your sins if you are taken by it.

Heb 10:26 For if we sin willfully after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remains no more sacrifice for sins, by @bibleproject

Please take the time to read.

Brothers and sisters pray with me now,
For us to Trust in the Lord and stop asking him how.
What we should eat what we should wear,
All things of the flesh will lead to despair.
Hand over to him all your troubles and burdens,
He will heal you for he is our surgeon.
He asks one thing of us to seek his righteousness and kingdom doors,
Follow these instructions and his kindgom is yours.
The devil prowls like a roaring lion seeking who he may devour,
Put on the full armor of God and youll be protected for it is our POWER!
Put to death the flesh and lose your frown,
Walk in the Spirit, go forth and claim your crown!
The day of the Lord is at hand make sure you dont miss out,
For he will send out his angel to claim his own with a thunderous shout!
Come Holy Spirit and cleanse my mind body and soul,
Fill every cell in my body and help me achieve the ultimate goal.
I thank you father for your mercy and grace,
I know with you by my side i will finish the race.
Jesus Christ your blood is sufficent your sacrifice is eternal,
Your kingdom will reign forever and with this i end my journal.
Glory to The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit for the kingdom and the power and the glory are yours now and forever.
Amen
