POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

WE ARE OPEN. WE ARE HERE FOR YOU.

Our CHECKMAT GULF BREEZE family, we know the hurricane has been a difficult experience for many people in our community. Some of us are dealing with damage, stress, and the challenges of getting back to normal.

Remember, you are not alone. We are more than a Jiu-Jitsu school — we are a family.

Come to the mats, train, release some stress, clear your mind, and take care of your body and mental health. Sometimes, getting back to your routine and being surrounded by good people is exactly what you need.

We are open, and we are here to support you!

Please continue to take care of yourselves and your families. Stay healthy, stay safe, and keep supporting one another.

SEE YOU ALL ON THE MAT!

Tonight, Gulf Breeze looks different. 💔

Streets that were once full of light are now covered in darkness.

Hurricane Isaias may have taken away our power and damaged our homes and businesses, but it will never take away the strength of our community.

To our neighbors, friends, and families affected by the storm: we stand together.

The lights will come back on. Our community will rebuild. And brighter days are ahead. ❤️

Stay strong, Gulf Breeze. We're in this together.

I hope everyone is safe and doing well after Hurricane Isaias.

Unfortunately, our Florida office was destroyed.
But I believe that the same God who blessed us with the resources to build it will also provide everything we need to rebuild.

Moments like these remind us how quickly life can change.

So cherish every moment, appreciate every blessing, and never take life for granted.

Buildings can be rebuilt, but life is priceless.

Stay grateful, and keep your faith in God. 🙏 by @biejanilson

Looking at this beautiful sky today, it’s hard to imagine that in less than two days, a hurricane could completely change this peaceful view.

I pray that God protects every family in Gulf Breeze and the surrounding communities.

God blesses us with the beauty of nature, but sometimes nature also reminds us of its incredible power and how precious life truly is.

May we never take a single day for granted.

May God watch over and protect us all! taken in Gulf Breeze, Florida by @biejanilson

Thank you to everyone who took the time to celebrate another year of life with me. Having you there meant more than you know.

This past week, losing a dear friend reminded me how precious and fragile life truly is.
Sometimes we get so busy with life that we forget to appreciate the people who matter most.

Forgive.
Ask for forgiveness.
Say “I love you.
Be grateful.
Hug the people you love a little tighter, because tomorrow is never promised.

My friend always reminded me, Live today, because we don’t know if we’ll have tomorrow.

So that’s exactly what I want to do, live fully, love deeply, and be grateful for every moment God gives me.

THANK YOU ALL. I LOVE YOU! ❤️🙏 by @biejanilson

Happy 4th of July! 🇺🇸

I celebrate with a heart full of gratitude for the opportunity to live in the greatest country in the world.

The United States has given me the chance to work hard, pursue my dreams, provide for my family, and build a better future.
I am thankful for the freedom, the opportunities, and for every person who has welcomed me along this journey.

May God continue to bless America, protect those who have served and sacrificed for this nation, and keep guiding us toward unity and hope. 🇺🇸 God Bless America by @biejanilson

Had the incredible privilege of training under Grand Master Murgel today at his school for a kimura seminar, and I’m still processing how special that experience was 🙏
.
.
There are moments in this journey that reminds us why we fell in love with JiuJitsu. Today was one of them!
To be in the room, on the mat, learning the details of the kimura directly from a living legend of our art ,that’s not something we take for granted.
.
.
Grand Master Murgel’s depth of knowledge, his precision, and the way he sees the game is a masterclass in itself. Every grip, every angle, every transition there’s a lifetime of wisdom in those details🥋
.
.
To my students and training partners, I’m bringing everything I absorbed today back to the mats. The knowledge lives on when we pass it forward🥋
.
.
Obrigado, Grand Master Murgel. The honor was all ours❤️
