Something I’ve been building now has a place. When I first introduced Aura Integra Behavioral Health, PLLC, I shared a vision for psychiatric and addiction care that is thoughtful, accessible, and centered on the whole person. Today, that vision has a physical home. Aura Integra now has a private service location in downtown Worcester. The space is being prepared to support care in person, by appointment, while telehealth continues to make care accessible across Massachusetts. For me, this is more than an office. It represents another step toward building the kind of practice I envisioned from the beginning. A place where people feel heard, respected, and included in their care. There is still more work ahead, but this milestone deserves to be acknowledged. Thank you to everyone who has encouraged the vision and followed the journey so far. Reclaim Your Aura. Aura Integra is now an enrolled MassHealth provider. Our enrollment with MassHealth took effect October 21, 2026. We offer telehealth psychiatric care for people across Massachusetts. Coverage depends on your plan. Care should be easier to reach. This is one more step toward that. If you are in crisis, call or text 988 for the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline. In an emergency, call 911. Why I serve. Last night I felt convicted to start sharing the faith side of my work. Then the book ideas kept growing, and then this story. To me, the three belong together. My calling started long before my career did. Years ago I was the patient in the bed, too shy to ask for a glass of water, and a nurse brought it anyway. I have carried that into every role since. The cross in our logo is the faith that inspires me to serve. It is a statement of why I serve, not a requirement for anyone I serve. If another tradition, text, or practice speaks to you, you are welcome to bring that instead. And something I have been working on: The Whole Story, a book about seeing the person behind the label. What I see often is that the quietest people are the most stigmatized and the most vulnerable. They may never ask, so care starts with noticing them anyway. All are welcome here. Two ways to get involved with Aura Integra Behavioral Health, PLLC. I have been building this in the background and today it is live. If you have ever written in asking how you could help, this is for you. There is now a page with two clearly separate tracks and one short introduction form. Community Fellowship, for people building toward a licensed behavioral health career. Twelve to sixteen weeks, five to ten hours a week, remote across Massachusetts, mentored by Augustine Mensah, MSN, BSPH, APRN, PMHNP-BC. Four fellows per cohort on purpose. Community Ambassador, for people who want to help without clinical training. Project scoped and event based. Staffing a resource fair booth. Translating a piece of community education material into Spanish, Portuguese, Haitian Creole, or any other language a community needs. Contributing writing, photography, or design to public facing content. Sharing accurate mental health information in the communities you already belong to. Ambassadors never access patient information, never use clinical software, and never represent themselves as clinical staff. Fellows work under mentorship, on real deliverables, with honest feedback and a portfolio piece they can show. Two tracks. One page. One form. Swipe through, choose the track that fits, and introduce yourself. auraintegra.com/get-involved Save this. Send it to one person who has ever said they wish they could help. . . . #CommunityFellowship #CommunityAmbassador #Worcester #WorcesterMA BehavioralHealth by @big.goont
