Working with Will Clarke has been incredible. The scale is only down four pounds, but I feel stronger, leaner, more athletic, and better than I have in a long time.
-
What I’m most proud of, though, is maintaining consistency through losing a loved one.
-
I want to give Coach Derek and Coach Will their flowers. They gave me exactly what I needed—understanding, flexibility, and space. Will told me to stop tracking and focus on being present. Derek supported my decision to withdraw from Nationals and immediately adjusted the plan around what I was going through.
-
I packed a cooler and brought my meals back and forth from Boston to Connecticut. I trained around helping my family. My siblings and my girlfriend gave me the space to do that, and I couldn’t have done it without them. I love the three of you more than I could ever imagine. ❤️
-
Were the workouts great? Absolutely not. Some had more rage and tears than progress. But training is something I love. It’s where I process, release, and empty the tank so afterward I can grieve, support my family, and be present.

This puts my squat at 705 for a 1RM. Pretty neat. Lifetime goal is to squat 700 raw, so we’re trending

USS Nationals 2026 — 9th Place.
-
Not the result I trained for, and I’m disappointed with how I performed. No excuses—just lessons to learn and mistakes to own. Apologies for the video quality but USS has a low quality stream.
-
Press: Hit 315. Event was delayed over an hour, attempts changed, and I missed 325.
-
Sandbag Over Bar: 2nd place with 9 reps. This was the highlight of the day. The conditioning work between Florida and Nationals paid off, and I’m proud of that performance.
-
Farmers: The implement was difficult for everyone. Others adapted, I didn’t. Was expecting top 5 performance on this and a near-zero here took me out of podium contention.
-
Arm Over Arm: Finished in 28.3 seconds. Less than half a second separated me from a top 5 finish.
-
Deadlift: Warm-up timing didn’t go as expected, and I had to rush from 315 straight to my opener. Finished with 4 reps at 600, but training indicated 7-8 minimum. Again very frustrated
-
The hardest part is when training goes exactly how you planned and the results don’t follow. But that’s competition.
Despite the outcome, the best part of the weekend was spending time with the @thetopstrengthproject crew and seeing so many friends. Back to work. Strongman Corp Nats next in 10 weeks by @big__billiam
