Peller’s Wedding Guests: Foreign Espionage And African Entertainment

When influencers and "foreign guests" collide, as is the case here, we are not watching a wedding but a social engineering operation

It is very clear here that the rise of our internet sensations is often engineered. When foreign money starts flowing into our digital spaces, it is time to start asking who is really behind the screen and what they’re buying with those "gifts." It’s time for Africans to stop being spectators to our own subversion.

Why Nigeria’s ‘Elites’ No Longer Need Nigerians

In this clip, Nigerian social commentator Sonma Oboke explores the concept of ‘Transnational Capital’ in the context of Africa’s pseudo-elite class, who exhibit behaviours that contradict what would appear to be their own national interest, because their entire economic base exists outside of Africa in western jurisdictions and neutral tax havens.

According to her, this phenomenon is a manifestation of neocolonialism, which Kwame Nkrumah warned about over 60 years ago - African national elites who have no sense of affiliation or loyalty to their countries because their money an their survival are not tied to those countries.

Do you agree with her assessment? Do you see evidence of Transnational Capital in your African country? Let us know in the comments.

Thomas Sankara: Why I Rejected Food Aid

In this video, Thomas Sankara, Burkina Faso’s first revolutionary president, explains why he rejected food aid, arguing that foreign aid traps developing countries into dependency on Western institutions.

According to Sankara, true liberation must begin with self-reliance, therefore rather than sacks of food, maize, or milk, “food aid” for instance, should come in the form of dams, tractors, fertilisers, ploughs, and watering cans, tools that empower people to produce their own food.

Let us know what you think about his stance in the comments.

What Would You Do If You Were Black People’s Opposition

In this clip, African American political commentator Armond Harris speaks to the obvious psy-op that is the continued promotion of 'diaspora wars' and other divisive narratives among African populations around the globe.

Harris makes the point that it is completely logical to expect that given the unique position of Africans as the largest racial and continental population on the planet to have a framework for genuine unity, entities whose interests are threatened by that unity would repeatedly and obsessively deploy these narrative tricks to derail Pan-African economic and political bridge-building.

Have you noticed such obviously sponsored divisive narratives in your African information space wherever you are in the world? Let us know in the comments.

The AI Illusion: Productivity Without Learning

The Spearhead’s Kangmwa Gofwen examines the hidden trade-offs of generative AI adoption in education. Drawing on studies showing that AI boosts short-term homework scores while severely degrading long-term exam performance, this report explores how outsourcing basic tasks creates a dangerous illusion of competence at the expense of genuine learning. #africanliberation #panafricanism #artificialintellingence by @big_mck

Foreign Influence: French Embassy In Ghana To Host “Training” Program For Ghanaian Bloggers & Content Creators

The French Embassy in Ghana is partnering with a certain Ghanaian blogger to “train” other Ghanaian bloggers and content creators on “new approaches to digital storytelling”.

Does France, which is presently destabilizing the Sahel by backing numerous t*rror groups, have such a soft spot for Ghanaians that it wishes to help them improve their blogging skills?

Or is this “partnership” the latest case of a Western nation attempting to hijack an African nation’s information space for its own ends?

French Embassy To Train Young Influencers in Ghana: The Spearhead Reacts

France's ambassador to Ghana has put out an open invitation to Ghanaian bloggers, social media influencers, content creators and journalists to take part in what amounts to the most brazen attempt yet to directly interfere with an African country's information space.

Unsurprisingly, not many Ghanaians seem to grasp the full ugliness of what is unfolding. Senior Reporter @big_mck reacts to the latest open violation of Ghana's sovereignty.

When Will Africa Start Treating Foreign Interference As A Serious Issue?

Across most of the world, foreign interference in local political decisions and processes is recognised as an existential threat to be attacked with the full range of a nation's defensive capabilities. Africa however, seems to be the only place in the world where this awareness is completely lacking. Why is this?

The Spearhead's Senior Reporter @big_mck examines this question in his latest analysis piece.

Malian Child Abused By Western-Backed T*rrorists In Viral Video Now Living Free In A Liberated Kidal

In April 2026, a chilling video circulated online, showing a Malian boy being physically ass*ulted by Western-backed t*rrorists for refusing to denounce his country’s revolutionary leadership. These t*rrorists had launched a series of coordinated att*cks targeting several cities across M*li, primarily the towns of Kati, Kidal, Gao and Sevare. The attacks were swiftly foiled by the Malian Armed Forces (FAMa), and a campaign launched by Malian President General Assimi Goïta to liberate all cities still under t*rrorist control.

On October 7, this brave boy was reported safe, following the liberation of his town, Kidal, by FAMa. In this picture, he is seen in the arms of FAMa personnel, cloaked in the flag of the country he stood by in the face of a threat that would cripple most grownups.

As M*li’s revolutionary leadership continues to defend its sovereignty, its children and their future, the rest of Africa would do well to draw inspiration.
