Now there’s a man who knows a good color palette when he sees one!

Marketing can bring you more clients. ✅
It cannot fix a pricing problem. 🙅‍♀️

Lots of business owners we talk to don’t have a marketing problem at all… they have a:

👉 “I’m not charging enough and I know it” problem

👉 “I’ve never actually looked at my numbers, I price based on viiibBbBbes” problem

👉 “I have no idea what my margins are” problem (or worse, “what even are margins???”)

👉 “I looked up a competitor once and just used their prices” problem

(And yes, we work on this with our clients: the mindset, the uncomfortable math, all the messy middle, so if you just whispered ”...this is me” and you need a margins intervention, hi, let’s talk. Snag 15 mins, link in bio.)

But the real real here is this: if your calendar is full but your bank account is empty…that’s not a marketing prob, it’s a pricing prob, and it’s time to raise your rates.

But somehow wanting to get paid well for the damn good work you do has got you feeling greedy. 😫

Shame is the force that has you discounting services you shouldn’t be. Throwing in extras you never planned to offer. Saying yes to rates that make you resent the job before you even start it. 🫩

Here’s where we stand: You can want to change people’s lives AND charge appropriately for it. Those two things don’t cancel each other out. In fact, the more sustainable your business is, the more people you can actually help…
