Had some fun in the studio doing a comparison of several models @remopercussion Snare Heads at different tuning intervals so drummers can hear the difference between the sound of each model at the same tuning. This is a medium low tension Perfect 5th. Also I included Tune Bot, and Drum Dial settings so drummers understand how thicker heads get deeper tones, at higher tensions. Hopefully this vid gives drummers insight into what sound profile each model brings to a drum. This @rogersdrums Dyna-Sonic snare from @bigbangdistribution rocked every tuning. I used a half moon gel from @rtomcorporation to add light control to the ring. #drumtuning #drumsound #drumtech #drums #drummers by @bigbangdistribution

Secret weapon #3 being used @arlynstudios today for an @antonesnightclub blues legacy session is the @dragonfly_percussion Hard Leather Beater from @bigbangdistribution . A full punch, with a warm, round, but direct attack that makes the bass drum pump for a classic blues sound. Secret weapon #1 and #2 being used at @arlynstudios today for an @antonesrecordshop blues legacy session. #1 a @rogersdrums Brass Super 10 from @bigbangdistribution . If you find one of these in a Drum Shop I highly recommend getting it for your collection. An amazing brass snare with a throaty tone at low tunings that truly fills the track. A gunshot crack at high tunings that still has a full bodied tone. It helps that it’s being played by the amazing @jaymoeller_ . #2 @tnrproducts True Vibes isolation mounts on the snare stand.
