Two years ago today I made a life-changing decision to fly to Mexico for weight loss surgery. It wasn’t an easy choice, but it has turned out to be one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. The journey hasn’t been perfect—there have been ups and downs—but through it all I’ve stayed committed.

So far I’m down over 150 pounds, and the difference in my quality of life is something I can’t even fully put into words. I move better, feel better, and see life a little differently now.

I’m extremely grateful for how far I’ve come, but I know the work isn’t finished. The journey continues.

If you’re on the fence about doing something that could truly better your life, let this be your sign. Sometimes you just have to take that leap and pull the trigger.
