The BIG FAT INDIAN POP UP is back at Heathrow this October....

If you’ve been to one of our pop-ups before, you’ll know what it’s about. It’s not just rows of stalls. It’s the people, the conversations, discovering brands you didn’t know existed, catching up with businesses you’ve bought from before and spending a really good day out with family and friends.

And the timing couldn’t be better.
With Diwali just around the corner, it’s the perfect opportunity to get your festive shopping started. Gifts for family and friends, Diwali outfits, jewellery, accessories, beauty, homeware, treats and those little finds you weren’t even looking for but end up loving.

Got weddings coming up in 2027? Start the shopping now. Whether you’re the bride, groom, part of the family or have a diary full of weddings next year, come and discover outfits, accessories, gifting, beauty and those little extras that make all the difference.

And our Beauty & Wellness Hubs are BACK. A dedicated space to discover businesses across beauty, aesthetics, self-care and wellness, meet the people behind them, ask questions and find services you may not even have known you needed.

Most importantly, every time you shop at the BIG FAT INDIAN POP UP, you’re supporting independent businesses and the people behind them. That has always been at the heart of what we do.

📅Saturday 10th October 2026
⏰️11am–5pm
📍Thistle London Heathrow, Terminal 5

Register for your tickets via the link in our bio.

Please share this with your family and friends, send it into the group chats and get the date in the diary.

Come for the Diwali shopping. Come for the wedding shopping. Come to discover something new. Or just come and spend the day with us.

✨ Vendors, this one’s for you.

We know how much goes into preparing for a pop-up — the stock, the displays, the travel, and most of all, the hope that it will be worth it.

But not every event delivers. Sometimes organisers focus on filling vendor slots instead of bringing in the right footfall. Sometimes promises of celebrities or entertainment are left until the very end. And sometimes… vendors leave feeling unheard and unsupported.

That’s why at Big Fat Indian Pop-Up, we believe in transparency and trust. We want every vendor to feel confident before they book, whether it’s with us or anyone else.

So here are key questions you should always ask before signing onto any event:
1️⃣ What’s the footfall like at previous events?
2️⃣ Can I see real feedback from past vendors?
3️⃣ How is the event marketed to attract customers (not just vendors)?
4️⃣ If there are special guests/entertainment, when will they appear?
5️⃣ How many vendors are taking part — and is there a good mix of categories?
What’s included in my stall fee (tables, chairs, power, etc.)?
6️⃣ Refund policy - What happens if the event is cancelled/postponed?

💡 Asking these questions helps protect your investment — and helps you make choices that will grow your business, not hold it back.

At BFIPU, our goal has always been to create events where vendors feel valued, supported, and part of a community. Because when you succeed, we all succeed. 💛

➡️ Save this post for later and share it with a fellow small business owner who deserves better.

And that's a wrap on another incredible Big Fat Indian Pop-Up!

Saturday 10th October was such a fantastic day, and looking back at all these moments reminds us why we started this journey in the first place.

Firstly, a huge thank you to all our amazing vendors. The time, effort and passion you put into your businesses really does shine through. We know how much hard work goes on behind the scenes, and we're so grateful that you chose to be part of our pop-up.

To everyone who came along, whether you came to shop, browse, support a friend or simply enjoy the atmosphere, thank you! It's your support that keeps small businesses going, and it means so much to all of us.

A special thank you to our wonderful sponsors and partners for believing in what we're building and supporting our vision. Your contribution and support mean so much to us.

And of course, a huge shoutout to our brilliant content creators who captured so many lovely moments throughout the day. You've given us some wonderful memories to look back on.

When we first started Big Fat Indian Pop-Up, our vision was simple. To create a space where small businesses could be seen, supported and given the opportunity to grow, whilst bringing our community together.

We're incredibly proud of what we're building and so grateful to everyone who continues to be part of this journey.

Here's a little look back at our 10th October pop-up. We hope you enjoy watching it as much as we enjoyed bringing it all together.

With love and thanks,
Rai, Amber & Nikita
