the wait was part of the win.

To know that I’m fulfilling a dream I’ve carried for the past ten years is something I’ll never fully comprehend. God has ordered my steps in ways I could’ve never imagined, and I wouldn’t change any part of the journey. I’ve been blessed with the most amazing village, and I don’t think I’ll ever be able to repay the love they’ve poured into me.

In a time when so many Black women are being limited by racist policies and inhumane treatment, I hold this accomplishment with profound pride and honor. Generations of Black people fought for moments like this, and I hope others see this as a reminder that no matter what they tell you, you are more than capable—and this is your legacy to shape.

I’m beyond grateful to be stepping into a career they try to say is “non-professional” but is my purpose, my passion, and my path. Just know: this is only the beginning.

A village is worth more than any present under a tree❤️

I can’t let the holiday season go without personally thanking my family and friends who have stuck with me through every year, bead of sweat, and anxious feeling along this journey. God definitely showed out by blessing me with so many people who saw greatness in me before I could even see it I will forever cherish this love and pray God continues to guide my heart to reflect that same love in everything I do. #graddump by @bigflexia
