Michigan Pro State Championship Recap

Late recap, but here it is. Finished T‑15 — definitely not the performance I wanted. It felt like one of those weekends where I kept throwing solid shots and just couldn’t catch a break. A lot of bad luck, a lot of things not falling my way.

One bright spot: the putting. I felt confident on the green all weekend and only missed one C1X putt, which I’m proud of.

Even with the ups and downs, I had a ton of fun every round. At the end of the day, that’s what disc golf is all about. I’m grateful to the Lord for giving me the opportunity to compete, grow, and be part of this amazing sport.

🥇 At Mishawaka Meltdown

I want to start off by thanking the Lord for blessing me with the ability to play this sport. It feels great to get my first A‑tier win. Had a blast all weekend playing with @vaughn_bontrager and the rest of the card. All three rounds came with tough conditions — rain, cold weather, and heavy wind.

Round 1:
Played pretty solid and shot -11 at Rum Village Park — a 1014‑rated round.

Round 2:
Another solid round with a -9 at Wilson Park — a 1007‑rated round. Honestly felt like it should have been higher.

Round 3:
Didn’t throw very well off the tee; my timing was definitely off. Shot -3 at Wilson Park, a 971‑rated round. The putting felt really good, though. I missed a few, made some pretty solid ones, and overall my release felt a lot better with the putt. Happy Easter!!!
