That’s a wrap on the 24-25 season! In the fall I made the decision, long overdue, for myself to step away from coaching and take care of me. It was time to get help and time to get healthy! I needed the focus to be on my recovery. I have learned a lot and put a lot of time and effort into being, hopefully, a better version of myself! A large concern of mine was what will skiing do to all this work I have put into my recovery… Believe it or not I only started skiing in February and ended in May. Thankfully the love for skiing never left, but definitely got lost. Happy to say I have found the joy and love in the sport that gave me so much, but understand what it can take away. It was definitely a different year for me but I am doing my best one day at a time. The new chapter has begun and I’m looking forward to what is next!
