When the daddy you snatched from hospice comes back to collect his sugar 💀

Thank you to my drag sister @jashpy for letting me be her living dress-up doll! 💄💇‍♀️👗 Seeing someone else's perspective on drag applied onto me is always so fun. I get to see things I would've never done myself (like putting on blush you can actually see) and maybe even apply them to my own drag!

Who would have thought eating spicy hot sauces and then lipsyncing would be a bad idea? 🌶️

Tag yourself! Which one of us would be you in our shoes?

Thank you so much to @pridestylepro for inviting me to perform at We Came From The Closet! 🤼‍♀️🏳️‍🌈 And thank you to @skyeoftheportman for beautifully capturing what might be the biggest highlight of my drag journey so far. 💜

*RAMBLE TIME* (rumble time?)

As a kid living in the Philippines, I only ever got to watch wrestling when we visited my relatives with the "premium" channels. Even though I barely understood what was going on, I knew all the wrestlers' names and have such vivid wrestling-related memories from my childhood. I remember getting so excited when I found out Batista is half-Filipino. I remember everyone at school doing "You Can't See Me" and playing Smackdown vs Raw on my friend's PS2. I remember dressing up as John Cena at a princess-themed costume party and getting upset when everybody thought I was just "a rapper".

I was out of the loop for 20 years, but pro wrestling found it's way back to me. It's something my partner and I have bonded over, and now we watch it several nights a week. We get together with our friends to watch PLE's, and this year we even got to see one live. I fell in love with Rhea Ripley and took her last name. But I think the most special way wrestling has re-entered my life is how it's helped me feel connected to that kid in the Philippines. At 30, I still run straight to the wrestling section in any toy aisle. I even bought my first wrestling action figure this year. And I still think many wrestlers are handsome (though I've since learned more adult words to express that lol).

All that to say, performing in a wrestling ring was pretty damn special. A childhood dream come true. by @bigfunheather
