Praise Dance & Stretch with Jai Faith “GRATITUDE & GRIND” Let’s fuse a morning of gratitude for our blessings and lighting a fire under those goals that remain to be achieved prior to the close of 2026!! Spend 90 minutes intentionally pouring into your mind, body, and soul. Through praise, dance, prayer, and stretching, we’ll: 🙏🏽 Identify the goals we set at throughout the year and where we are with the completion of these goals. 🦾 Partner with God through daily actionable steps to complete our goals amongst the holiday parties and tendencies to relax with our discipline. 🤲 Give thanks to God for our blessings and praise Jesus for our salvation. This is more than movement through dance & stretch. It’s an opportunity to worship, complete what we started and be refreshed in His presence. Celebrate non-scale victories and consistently incorporate physical activity into your daily routine. 2. Get professional guidance. 🤝 If you’re new to physical activity, begin with a fitness protessional and communicate your current needs, goals and if options are needed. We incorporate personalized coaching within a small group setting. 3. Get moving at work 🚲 Walk or cycle to work, take the stairs, or park further away from your destination. You can also schedule walking meetings with coworkers. 4. Eat healthy 🥗 Real talk! Your coach only has you an hour a day if you train often. A healthy diet is important for improving your health and sports pertormance. You cannot out train a sketchy diet. 5. Manage stress 😅 Exercise can help reduce stress by increasing endorphins, your brain’s feel-good neurotransmitters. 6. Have fun 😃 An active lifestyle can be fun and doesn’t have to be complicated. Us two coaches are dancing for our brain health!!! Here are a few benefits! 💪🏽 Dancing engages your entire brain by multitasking. Your brain must manage rhythm, balance, spatial awareness, and memory simultaneously which builds new neural pathways. 🗣️ Dance connects both sides of the brain by strong cross-talk between the left and right hemispheres of the brain. 🦾Dance triggers growth in brain cells by the release of brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF), a protein that helps grow and repair neurons. 🤓 Dance improves memory because learning choreography and repeating steps stimulates the hippocampus, which is the memory center of the brain. Dance protects against decline as studies show frequent dancing lowers the risk of dementia significantly more than routine physical exercises or quiet puzzles do. 😃 Dance also releases feel-good chemicals within the body!! Dancing triggers the brain’s reward system to release dopamine, serotonin, endorphins, and oxytocin. 🧘‍♀️ Dance also reduces stress because these natural chemicals lower stress hormones like cortisol, helping you feel relaxed and happy.
