Thank you to God for using me, thank you to those who granted me the opportunity to share my gifts, and thank you to everyone who showed up & supported me 🤍

It’s an amazing feeling to wake up & be able to walk in purpose, something I’ll never take for granted. I truly love teaching because I know that the right information has the power to change someone’s life. I’m truly grateful to be called to do this work in this life time 🥹

Back story: Brittany and I met in 2022 through a mutual friend. At the time, she needed help with her finances, and I was searching for someone to promote my financial services on YouTube. Fast forward to 2024—Brittany reached out to congratulate me on my move to Houston, completely unaware that I was planning to contact her about a new opportunity. During our conversation, she shared that I had been a prayer point for her as she needed financial guidance again after launching her new business, @tariblends in September.

The concept of Faith and Finance had been on my heart since the summer, but I knew deep down that I wasn’t supposed to do it alone. As I was still adjusting to my new home in Texas, I’ll admit I started to grow weary about my decision to move. During one of our consultation calls, Brittany sensed the heaviness, paused the conversation, and offered to pray over me.

Her prayer was exactly what I needed to hear to the point that I couldn’t hold back my tears. I’m usually the one uplifting my clients, but in that moment, I needed someone to pour into me and God used Brittany as a vessel. That experience made it clear that she was meant to join me in leading this special conversation about Faith and Finance.

October Reflection 🍂

Tribeeee, I’ve been going through a unique transition since stepping down from my full-time role as a staff accountant in August. It hasn’t been picture perfect, but I’m embracing every part of this journey. I’m grateful for the newfound freedom that I now have, the ability to fully dedicate myself to @biggerthankey and my clients, and for the way God is ordaining my every step towards bigger & better.

New City New Tactics 🤍

Relocating to a new city has proven to be more challenging than I initially anticipated. You have to be proactive and get out in the field every single day! So for the past few weeks, I’ve been pulling up to different salon suites, handing out my flyers, and leaving a few in their lobby area. I'm embracing every step of this journey as it's a totally different experience from being in the DMV. I remember when I first launched my services in 2021, I thrived simply off of word of mouth 🥹

Nevertheless, this process has been both eye-opening and rewarding, and I’m excited to see how it continues to shape my personal and professional growth 🤍 taken in Houston, Texas by @biggerthankey

Still showing up the best way I can 🤍

Lately, I’ve been doing a lot of self-reflection, and I’ve come to realize that while I’ve been fully present in real life, I’ve been slacking when it comes to showing up on social media 😭.

With Q4 starting tomorrow, I’m raising a glass to consistency and making it a priority to be more present on Instagram. Time to take things to the next level 🤍
