What a great time at Big Heart Fest with friends and family celebrating John O’Brien’s life and raising money for Sarcoma research! Paul McDonald rocked it! Robert Fleischman’s art, Jim Peterik’s signed guitar, Chicago Stem Cell Therapy’s stem cell treatment package, and Primitive Chicago’s print and book all raised a lot of money in the silent auction! Thank you to Teri, Pat, and the O’Brien family for all your passion and hard work! #sarcoma #bigheartfest #chicago taken in Chief O’Neill’s Pub Restaurant Garden Event Space by @bigheartfest

On your 4th heavenly birthday and on the eve of our big musical celebration- Big Heart Fest- in your honor I am only feeling grateful for the wonderful earthly time we had together. I am the luckiest daughter in the world. Oh the places we went together, father! Australia-Italy- Ireland- Boston - Southern France - apparently Disney World - Colorado - LA - Africa - Paris - and our last trip, Vegas. My ultimate, forever bestie. You are always with me. I reach for the sky because of you. Happiest of birthdays and I can’t wait to celebrate you tomorrow 💚 by @bigheartfest

In 2019 while my Uncle, Big Johnny was fighting the ultimate fight against Sarcoma, we had our first family fundraiser. It was a 5k in Sea Island that only reassured what a bonded and supportive family we are and how committed we were to fight Sarcoma. It is 2026 and we are without Big Johnny on Earth, but in our hearts he lives on. It is our 3rd Big Heart Fest and our goal is to celebrate and honor Big Johnny’s life, all while raising money for Sarcoma Foundation. We plan and execute this event as a family- learning as we go and bonding over the countless hours of execution! Join us for a super fun night of LIVE music, amazing auction items (no raise the paddle), cocktails, food and fun!!! You won't regret it and will know you did your part in the fight against cancer! @bigheartfest @curesarcoma @bhamman79 taken in Chief O’Neill’s Pub Restaurant Garden Event Space by @bigheartfest
