My personal tribute art to the late Akira Toriyama. As a number of you may know, Dragonball Z played a massive influence on my work. Eteric was very inspired by Goku and Reovonno was very inspired by Vegeta (even originally had him as a villain and would have him reform like Vegeta did). When I first made these two characters as a kid, they had sayian like powers (but were still able to use their elemental powers) and could transform into giant dragons (like sayians could transform into giant apes), I changed them a lot since then.

DBZ in itself played a humongous impact on me as a kid. I remember vividly drawing my own Sayian characters as a kid and have them fight in their own comics. It was perhaps the first manga I ever read and among the first anime I watched which introduced me into the entire world of manga and anime. Played a ton of the video games too growing up, honestly some of the most fun I ever had growing up being exposed to this amazing series. I can’t thank Akira Toriyama enough for his contribution and sharing his creativity and imagination with the whole world. He will surely be missed.

The lineart is originally done by @mr.drawmatic as I have the original attached (hope it’s okay man). He himself is a big Dragonball fan himself and a fantastic artist. He is the creator of the comic series, Loc.

Here I give you all more insight into my character’s motivations through mostly Reovonno’s perspective. Here you get more of an idea of his life and lifestyle. Eteric’s is similar. Here Reovonno gets into why he’s being trained with Eteric by Rectron. Many times they must take time away from their daughters to work on a huge goal they intend to set out. I’m still workin on the concept myself but overall, it’s within that lane I wanna go with.

I really wanna get more accustomed to greyscale and screentones as that’s what I wanna publish Earth Marine Resurrection in. Plus man it saves lots of time from all that coloring and detail, as much as I love it.

My official redesign for Eteric of my two main OCs. Just like Reovonno, his attire is basically the same but just made some alterations nearly all the way around. I once again made the decision to redesign him along with my other characters because I feel what they’d wear now is a better fit for the kind of world I want Earth Marine Resurrection to be. Especially with the fact that he is a water user that heavily relies on said element, I also felt it was best that his clothing was more revealing since he’d swim in it.

My two girls new fits will definitely be coming up, but next up, I’ll reveal the next new character.

The very first newly introduced character as shown in the previous comic post. Essentially a rival of Reovonno but nonetheless is an ally to him and the others. He is the first elemental I have shown that isn’t earth or water. Here we have fire. His name is Fyrum.

He is a very skilled hand to hand combatant who utilizes his resurrected element of fire pretty well. An older and more experienced character, he has peaked Reovonno and Racakama’s interest because of his expertise . The two, mainly Reovonno challenges him to fights in order for him to improve himself. As evidenced in the last comic post, he is on another level than him but it doesn’t stop Reovonno from putting his best foot forward each try to get better with each fight against him.

A serious but wise cracking attitude at times, he plays a pivotal part in the series for the main duo. Looking forward to showing more of him along with the other characters I wanna introduce. Hope y’all like him.

Next post, to show Eteric’s new look.

Quite a bit has been going on personally for me so the posting has been getting pretty slow recently, but I’ll always pull through with content for y’all. Here I introduce one of the mystery characters referenced in my one of my previous posts.

Reovonno is always challenging and pushing himself to his limit and sometimes he gets too carried away as we see here. Taking on and losing to someone who is older, wiser, more experienced, and overall just stronger than him besides his mentor, Rectron certainly will bring him back to reality if he’d get overconfident. But it also will give him an idea of where he is in his skills and uses it to find ways to improve. Sometimes even if it means taking an ass whupping.

There are way more elemental users in my series besides just earth and water and I’m excited to show y’all even more of them. This is just one of many, my next post will explain more about him. Stay tuned.

The final gala interaction! This one includes Rhian doing the famous Team 7 pose with the galas 3 pint sized powerhouses Eydria, Rackama, and Cikoo! I had this idea stirring in my head for a little bit and what better time to do it and show appreciation to 2 of my favorite creatives! I hope you guys like it and thank you both for your support through these years!

Eydria and Rackama belong to @bigheed63
Cikoo belongs to @jenxcomics29

My official redesign for Reovonno of my two main OCs. As you may notice, it’s not that much different from what he previously wore. Just some slight alterations is all but those small detail changes I feel really helps make all the difference considering the kind of world I want Earth Marine Resurrection to be. If I change anything else, it’ll be very minor. Me personally, I absolutely love it. I hope you all dig it too, especially since this is very likely to be his last redesign before EMR eventually releases.

Eteric’s will soon be coming along with the girls, but next time to introduce one of the hidden characters to y’all next.

My submission into this year’s #microngala. Here we have my two girls dressed as heroes from the DC Comics Universe. Eydria dressed as Huntress (Helena Wayne, not the mainstream Huntress) and Rackama dressed as Supergirl (Lara Kent, not Superman’s cousin). Since Eydria and Rackama are the offspring to the two main characters of my series, I thought it only made sense to dress them as daughters to very well known characters in their respective universe as well. Helena Wayne is the daughter of Batman and Catwoman in Earth-2 and Lara Kent is the daughter of Superman and Wonder Woman in Earth-31 of the DC Universe.

Eydria and Rackama have their own individual journeys and many of them they face together. As they are still really young and developing their abilities, they want to venture in similar footsteps as their fathers. With enough trust from them and Rectron, they go out and do numerous tasks given to them. A number of those times it means going out to dangerous areas so they must be vigilant and ready.

The world of Earth Marine Resurrection is beautiful yet dangerous. There will be a lot of violence in this series, I want it to be a good mixture of Shonen and seinen if I’m making sense.

Now with these particular comics out of the way, I will now begin to present the new fits for my characters. Afterwards, the new characters to present to everyone. Hope 2026 has been good to y’all so far.

A solo scene with my OC Eteric. Here he takes time to reflect after going out on a solo mission and things didn’t quite goes his way. Much context I know is needed and will soon be given.

In the world of Earth Marine Resurrection, I intend to make it a peace and beautiful yet very violent and brutal world. I definitely will get into all of that more as I put out more lore.

Reovonno as he trains solo in a desert region where he also resides. He is one dead determined individual who wants to improve upon himself and in return he can help improve upon others.

Dunno if I’m back to posting regularly just yet but I’ve wanted to get this post out for months now. Slowly worked on it even after I took my break from constantly drawing comic pages. #originalcharacter #comic #manga #blerd #mypassion by @bigheed63

Comparison between my manga style and colored work. The original is the black/white on the top but figured I’d color it as well for the bottom pic. A panel for my upcoming post with one of my characters in a desert. All who’ve been following me for awhile may know that I enjoy making nature environment works as well.

I have really been taking it easy when it comes to making comics lately, in the meantime I’ve been working on my much smaller works like this. Dunno exactly when I’ll get back to posting my comics and onwards for my series currently but as of now, this break I feel has been much needed. I’ve been working on pages like a mad dog for quite awhile with few breaks and I think I’ve been feeling the brunt of it. Preciate everyone’s patience. #desertart #desertartwork #backgroundart #desertwasteland #natureart by @bigheed63
