It’s official we have grown kids, Sun-Son is 21.

Happy birthday Sun-Son. There’s not a day that goes by that I am not astonished by the man you are becoming. It’s seems like yesterday your mother & I were teaching you to always look a man in the eye, speak boldly, and know that you are/ will always be covered by the love of your village, know every where you step behind you is a larger shadow.
Your gifts enrich everyone you encounter.
Somehow we went from homeschooling you, traveling the country state to state scouring zoos. Only to realize you managed to teach us more than we were ever able to teach you.. You’ve faced every adversity with strength, every challenge with integrity & faith, every change with whimsical whimsy and optimistic light. Yet always willing to seek out wisdom & understanding..

DeAndre L. Lane you have the smile that can heal every person that sees and receives it. My heart breaks for the little boy that’s gone, but leaps at the man that has arrived. Thank you for being such a blessing. Happy Birthday Sun-son. “The Sir” loves you (insider).
