This is how we cover our faces when we shame ourselves, we start hiding from the one who will never shame or condemn us. My God reminded me that He will never leave nor forsake me. That there is still light on the other side of the tunnel. I’m not perfect but I trust that the works that the Lord has begun in me will be perfected. I am wonderfully made and will keep my head straight with my eyes on the Lord without putting myself to shame. I am a child of God, nothing else.

Proverbs 28:26 “One who trusts in his own heart is a fool, but one who walks wisely will flee to safety.”

Romans 8:1 “Therefore there is now no condemnation at all for those who are in Christ.”

Isaiah 54:4 “Fear not, for you will not be put to shame; and do not feel humiliated, for you will not be disgraced; But you will forget the shame of your youth, and no longer remember the disgrace of your widowhood.”

Colossians 1:14 “I have been redeemed and forgiven of all my sins.”
Colossians 2:10 “I am complete in Christ.”

💗 I don’t know who needed to hear this but I’m proud of you!
💗 I use to constantly beat myself up & harm myself because I was angry at myself, I believed I deserved to go through everything I did. I was seeking validation in places where I was never going to find it. Then I met Jesus, I’ve always known about God but I didn’t know MY GOD. He’s the one I give all Glory to because he pulled me out of a dark place, I thought I was done. I’ll never be worthy but my God is worthy of it all. He deserves all the Glory, He deserves to be praised. Jesus is the way, the truth, the answer to all our worries guys. No, I am not perfect. I am still a sinner. Walking with Christ is not a beautiful trail but that’s what makes it special because He gets you through every obstacle that stands in your way. When you’re willingly choosing sin, of course it feels pleasing and harmless but the end result is always death. We’ll never be perfect but when you’re walking with Christ and ask him to make you hate sin the same way that he does, your ways will start changing, you’ll be sensitive to the spirit and you’ll listen to His voice when he speaks to you. I love you all & don’t forget Jesus loved you first, He will never leave or forsake you.
