Oh Morty…..you were the best lil orange kitty a guy could ask for. Thank you for all the love, cuddles, laughs, head butts that sometimes hurt but were full of love and the memories. You were my first animal I got on my own and the first cat in the Berger family. Coming home to you and your meows demanding love and food made life easier no matter what I was going through. You helped me feel more comfortable after my move to Colorado, helped me through multiple break up’s, a global pandemic and my transition into a new career path. You changed my parents perception about cats and they are now cat people with a little orange guy of their own. You were only 9 when you passed and you deserved to live a longer life, but you made my life so much better and made so many people smile in your short life. From being born on the streets to being given back to the shelter, I’m glad I was able to give you a home and make you the spoiled kitty like you deserved. Cancer sucks, but I’m happy you aren’t suffering anymore. Thank you to my parents for housing and taking care of him for the last year plus while I continued my career in the event industry. A special thanks to @emilitabergitaz and her fiance @blanketguy for being the best vet techs and making sure he was taken care of properly and given the best treatment possible until his final day. I don’t think I’ll ever have a cat as unique, funny and weird as you. I’m just glad you aren’t suffering anymore. Make sure to hug your animals as much as possible. They might be a big part of your life, but to them we are their whole world. This isn’t goodbye, this is see you later 🧡🧡🧡 by @bigmacberger

What an experience. By far the hardest hike I’ve ever done. Tested me mentally, physically and emotionally. Thought about giving up the entire time, but god damn I’m glad I pushed through. Couldn’t have done it w out the support of all my new friends and the amazing guides who motivated me (and our dog friends who came with up the volcano). The moment you reach base camp and see that volcano erupt, all the pain and struggles fade away. One of the greatest experiences of my life and I made some amazing friends along the way. Shout out to my new British friends @ollieroper @maddiee_weeks and @mialacey for making the experience even better. Now time to rest. taken in Volcán de Fuego by @bigmacberger

Dad flew out for one day just to see @chicagobears play the Broncos. Sports has always played a huge part in our relationship and I'm so happy no matter where I live we can continue to watch our favorite teams together. Also bold predicition: bears are gonna sneak into a wild card spot this year #dabears #bearsvsbroncos #milehigh taken in Empower Field at Mile High by @bigmacberger

Oh Lucy.....you were by far the sweetest and most loving dog I've ever been lucky enough to meet. Coming home everyday to your wagging tail and kisses made any bad day better. Extremely grateful that I was able to visit home at the end of December to see you before you passed. 14 years of spreading your love to everyone who met you....you will be missed Lucy goose. taken in Buffalo Grove, Illinois by @bigmacberger
