We finally found someone to film us trying out some MFS (multi-formation skydiving) — thank you, Paul at @moruya_skydivers_club ! It’s something @bigmischief8 and I have been working on, and we’re really enjoying it because it combines all forms of skydiving: belly, back, head up, head down, sit, and more. We’re still working on matching our fall rates, of course. Even simple things, like me doing a 360 while Big Mischief does a barrel roll, mean I have to stay tighter so I don’t float as much and we can stay on the same level. It’s definitely a work in progress, but we’re having a lot of fun with it. And the slingshot at the end? Highly recommend — it is so much fun. You can get a lot of information about MFS on @sdc_matrix profile. We landed off on this jump, with the ground speed at 110 knots, which meant groups needed to be quick (6 seconds per group) when exiting the plane. Unfortunately, two groups took 16 seconds or more to exit. As a result, several of us landed outside the designated landing area, although we were very close together in the paddock next door. Thankfully, everyone landed safely and close to each other. However, it was a valuable lesson about the importance of double-checking with each group when the wind is high and confirming whether they need additional time to set up before exiting. This experience has made me much more aware of the people I am jumping with and the importance of looking out for each other. Horses and knights. Cheval e chevelier. The loire valley was so much fun with @bigmischief8. We will definately be coming back to do more of the castles. But if you only have 2 days you can certainly do an express version and you see the ma8n castles. We did @chateaudechambord Close Luce (Leonardo Da Vincis house) and Chenencou.
