I have made it to the end of the Pan American Highway!
.
TL;DR: Miley was right about the Climb.
.
Was this the Kelly Clarkson, “Moment like This” feeling that I had been wanting from such a trip? “Yes…but…” Physically getting to Ushuaia was never the reason for this jaunt south nor did I have any idea that it would be this beautiful lol (literally didn’t look at any pics).
.
In ten years, I know that it won’t be the standing on top of my truck next to the Ushuaia sign that enters my mind and spark me with joy, it’s no more than a trophy gathering dust on some shelf. What I will remember and what will forever fill my cup will be the sunsets shared with my best friends, the countless roadside stops for ice cream/coffee and the smiles of the locals after some joke in Spanish miraculously lands.
.
I wanted this trip to be a chance see how the Americas connect, feel the difference between your Peru’s and your Bolivia’s, to get into a rhythm where I wasn’t thinking about going home, just presence in simply heading south. It was definitely this and so much more. I’m incredibly proud of what this trip has been, how I’ve been able to share it with my acompañaneros, and for simply going for it on this 13 year dream of mine. I’m in no place to understand what it all means just yet, but that’s okay. In the meantime — life rips, Go Do. #panamericanhighway taken in Ushuaia by @bignsundy

Holland to Mongolia in this?!? A week into this thing and I feel like we have already won. We have incredibly passed our $10,000 goal for the Movember Foundation and are actually driving this comically small car a decent bit east. Can’t tell what will happen next, but I really don’t care, I’m just excited. If you are a massive legend, donate to our Movember page (link in bio) or maybe even just follow @nomadswithgonads. Either way, wish us luck as shit really gets knocked into 12th gear. #nomadswithgonads #mongolrally2018 #thinkingofaplace taken in Bucharest, Romania by @bignsundy

🇻🇳🇻🇳🇻🇳 - Ha Giang loop & Da Nang to Ha Noi on the old iron horse (modest scooters). Big love to Vietnam for remaining such an amazing place and Lauren for being the perfect companion to the madness & agreeing/thriving with such a plan. Cant wait for the next one 😮‍💨🙈🫰 by @bignsundy
