To the Eta Nu Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated, thank you for showing me what true sisterhood looks like and for molding me into a better young woman. I am forever grateful to the 22 women who paved the way, but especially to the 12 phenomenal women who chartered the Eta Nu Chapter and welcomed me with nothing but love and open arms. Your impact on my life will never go unnoticed. ❤️

To XV U.N.C.U.T, I love y’all downnnn! I’m forever grateful that we got to walk this journey to Delta Land together. Through every up, down, laugh, tear, and moment in between, I truly believe God handpicked each and every one of y’all to be my sisters. The bond we share is something I’ll cherish forever. ❤️

As I reflect upon my college journey, I can truly say that Miles College saved and shaped me into the young woman I am today. From starting my journey at Louisiana State University to transferring to Miles, I found not only an education, but a community that believed in me and helped me grow.

Although I officially graduated in December 2025, walking across the stage today was a moment I will cherish forever. I walked with grace, honor, resilience, and a heart full of gratitude. This degree represents every sacrifice, late night, challenge, and moment of perseverance that brought me to this point.

Today, I proudly earned my Bachelor of Science in Biology and joined the 2.9% of Black women who hold STEM degrees. As a Black woman in science, this accomplishment means so much to me, and I hope my journey inspires others to keep pushing toward their dreams no matter the obstacles.

Thank you to my family, friends, professors, and everyone who supported me along the way. This is only the beginning, and I am excited for what’s next as I continue pursuing my dreams in veterinary medicine.
