Oh my, what a trip. 🇳🇬❤️

I’m dedicating this post to every LAPO baby and all my mainland kids who can’t currently see a future they could possibly dream of. I was once that child and this is a reminder that DELAY IS NOT DENIAL.

Nigeria was so good to me. It reminded me of how far I’ve come and how much further I still have left to go. I got to re-experience my childhood with a better perspective, visit my hometown, reconnect with childhood friends and family, host 2 meet-and-greets in my home country, and even witness Arsenal win the Premier League title.

This trip completely changed my perspective and gave me a renewed sense of purpose. Thank God for the journey and for blessing me enough to experience moments I once could only dream about.

Thank you, Ikorodu, for every challenge, lesson, and setback. They made me who I am today. This is only the beginning. I’ll be back. Bigger and better. 🇳🇬❤️ taken in Ikorodu Lagos Nigeria by @bigpressyy

14 years ago, I left Lagos, Nigeria and moved to the UK! I was just a young girl not knowing where life was going to take her but honestly my heart is full and I’m glad everything has led back to this moment.
