This might be one of the coolest things I’ve ever had the chance to do.

As many of you know, I’ve been doing the Bar Boss Competiton for quite some time now. I just wanted to thank each and every person that voted for me and showed so much love. I’ve never done something like that before, so beating out a lot of people based off of my personality and pictures and my growth, I placed 8th! I love learning about bartending and mixology and overall customer service. There is so much more out there for me to learn that I’m excited to further hone this craft I’ve created such fondness for. I love and thank all of you. You’ve given me a newfound confidence that I never thought I’d feel again.

Two of my newest friends, who are also some of the best people I’ve met and created drinks for, hired me for my first private bartending event. I was able to celebrate Sara’s birthday and met some really great people tonight. I came up with three signature cocktails that ended up going really well at the party and I felt so confident and comfortable. I felt like I was really in my element, and it felt so good.

Thank you, Sara and Dave for giving me the space to be me and craft cocktails for some really awesome people. Happy Birthday Sara!

And the biggest thank yous to my husband, @bretthjones. The love, support, and joy you give me cannot be described. So all I can do is thank you and make us proud.
