ONE YEAR AGO TODAY, the State of Hawaii recognized George “Fiji” Veikoso declaring September 13th as FIJI DAY 🇫🇯🌺

Fiji was bigger than music.

That night represented something deeper 50 years of music, culture, sacrifice, and a state of mind for the 50th State and beyond.

It was a reminder that music is more than what we hear. It carries our stories. It preserves where we come from. It connects generations and gives a voice to people and places that the world may otherwise never know.

Sending love to every artist, musician, friend, and family member whose life was touched, inspired, and forever influenced by the GOAT 🐐 — VINAKA VAKALEVU.

Happy Fiji Day 🔊🇫🇯 #FIJIFOREVER

This one hit different. 🌊💙

While working on this song, we realized that each of us share the same story… growing up between cultures, carrying the weight of where we come from while trying to find our place in today’s world, often wondering where we truly belonged.

“Reflection of Me” gave us the opportunity to put those emotions into words, honor our roots, and celebrate the strength that comes from embracing our identity.

We’re incredibly honored to be part of Disney’s Moana: Voices Across the Ocean and can’t wait for you to hear a piece of our journey, the cultural struggles we’ve faced, the lessons we’ve learned, and, above all, how proud we are to represent our people and our heritage.

To anyone who has ever felt caught between two worlds, we hope this song reminds you that your story, your culture, and your identity are your greatest strengths.

Thank you to the entire team and everyone who made this opportunity possible. We can’t wait to hear what this song means to you. 🙏🏽🌺
