💛 “You are loved. You are needed. You are not alone.”

This Suicide Prevention Month, Big Sista’s Inc. wants to remind everyone that your life has purpose, value, and meaning beyond what you may see right now.

We know that life can feel heavy, and it’s okay to not be okay. It’s okay to ask for help. There is so much strength in speaking up, reaching out, and letting someone walk with you through the darkness.

At Big Sista’s Inc., we are committed to being a safe, loving space where you can find support, encouragement, and community. This month—and every month—we are choosing to stand in the gap for those who feel unseen, unheard, or alone. Together, we can break the stigma, start the conversation, and remind each other that healing and hope are always within reach.

Recently we held our 3rd annual Big Sistas’ Back-to-School Bash!📚🧠
We gave away nearly ALL of our Big Sistas Back-to-School Book Bags, all of our hygiene products, clothes and food! We had tons of kids who either received a free haircut, retwist, or a braided style! We were also able to distribute all of our game prizes to the winning children!🎒🖍️
Big Sistas, Inc. would like to thank everyone who prayed for and supported our annual Back-to-School Bash. We can’t express this joy nor our gratitude enough.🌎💫

Our mission has grown our foundation past a capacity that we couldn’t have possibly conceptualized. Roots of unconditional love, supplemental knowledge, and SERVICE within the community, has sprouted and is need of some more growing hands!🙌🏾🤎

Hey Big Sista family! As the time approaches AGAIN for our Annual Back to School Bash, what better way to think BIG than to sow a seed in a most deserving community? 🌱📚

For the remainder of the summer, we ask that ALL supporters, sponsors, companies, entrepreneurs, and community leaders plant a seed of supplemental knowledge into the community.🪏🧠

For only $10, you could sponsor a Garden Girl or Guy’s Big Success Bag, which will have all the supplies they will need to start their new journey in this upcoming school year. 📎✏️

Wishing you could make it even more special? Adding a personal Garden Journal AND a special note for $3 more will give the children of Macon County that extra motivation for the school year. 🙌🏾

Our 3rd Annual Back to School Bash is almost here — and we’re calling on YOU to help us make it unforgettable!

Macon County and surrounding communities, please join your favorite organization on August 3, 2025 at the Tuskegee Square to gear up and start growing for the 2025-2026 Academic School Year📚🧠.
Last year was BIG Macon County, and you know we’re doing things BIGGER this year. Walk with us, for it is time to keep “Growing in your Big world, chasing your Big dreams, with your Big Sistas!” 💛💚🤎

Similar to before, this event is open to ALL ages, but let’s be mindful of why Big Sista was rooted, THE KIDS!! Book bags, games, food, haircuts and styles, clothes and sanitary supplies will be available to the youth upon arrival. We ask that all Big Sista family, 19y/ old and older, to allow the younger Garden Girls and Guys the opportunity to receive their benefactions first.
