Each bodybuilding prep a new lesson is learned. Personally I feel like I not only go through a physical transformation but a spiritual one as well.

Embracing prep is being okay with the unknown, accepting change and letting go of what you cannot control. Focusing only on what you can control. Protecting your mind, body and spirit.

This prep was learning about self validation. I feel like as humans we are always seeking validation from others, whatever that may be. You hear things like “Your so lean” “you look so good” “you are doing a great job at work” but it means nothing unless you also believe those things about yourself.

🤍 Only your opinion of yourself matters 🤍

Do it for yourself ♥️

The stage is just a small part of the journey ( literally a few seconds)

This sport is unique, its individual but also takes a team. It teaches you delayed gratification in a world where everything is so instant. There is something so humbling about that but also what makes this sport so special to me.

Learning to accept defeat, take the feedback, and use it as an opportunity to grow and come back better.

Every intake call with my girlies:

“I just want to tone up and lose some weight.”

Okay girl… so what you actually want is to build muscle + lose body fat. 😂

Because that “toned” look doesn’t come from simply getting smaller. You need enough MUSCLE underneath to actually showcase that shape.

And NO, lifting heavy isn’t going to make you bulky. Inside my coaching we build a foundation around intentional training, adequate fuel, consistency and creating a physique you feel confident in. 🤍 NOT starving yourself or being afraid to pick up heavier weights.

I have a few spots opening for fall and 2 have already been filled. If you’ve been waiting for a sign to get serious about your goals, this is it. ⚡️💫

Work ThingZ 🤍

A little photo dump from the last few shows + a little piece of my heart.

A year ago, I took a leap of faith and stepped away from a very successful corporate career to coach full-time with @prestige_physiques

And honestly… I couldn’t be happier I listened to my heart.

2027 will mark 4 years of officially coaching, and somewhere along the way this became so much more than a job. I get to pour into my girlies, my athletes, and the people who trust me to help them become the best version of themselves and that is something I don’t take lightly.

I’m SO proud of the group of women we’ve cultivated at Prestige. Every athlete is different, every journey is different, and that’s exactly how I believe it should be. I always say it’s important to meet ppl where they are at, figure out what THEY need, and continue evolving along the way.

I’ve learned SO much these last few years and I’m still learning every single day. I continue to evolve my coaching, my methods, and my approach because there are a million ways to get to the finish line.

There are many ways to skin a cat 😹 And if someone tells you there is only ONE way to coach, train, eat, or succeed… run.

I took a chance on myself, and I’m so grateful I did.

To my incredible support system (you know who you are) thank you for believing in me when I took that leap. To my hubby, thank you for always supporting me and allowing me the space to chase this dream.

And most importantly, thank You God for continuing to open doors, provide, and put the right people in my path. 🤍 by @bigtuck_
