INTRODUCING: THE TIGER KING 🐯

SXTPS: Jungala DJ mix now live on SoundCloud! ⛓️‍💥 in bio!
______________

Jungala was hands down my favorite SXTPS.

This was a very incredible experience for me personally, as it affirmed my place as a student of Afro House. Afro House has been a passion of mine for years, and I’ve looked for many ways to express that in my DJ sets. Saturday night felt like it all clicked into place, and I feel that I finally gave a set that fully honored the genre, with a sexy SXTPS twist.

I’d been planning this event specifically since early this year, so I was very pleased to see everything come together so seamlessly. From the concept, to the amazing decor by @kyodotcom, to the powerhouse DJs @ashleyyounnia and @drdomenergy who really brought an undeniable groove, this was a perfect night.

Thank you to @juelzbodyart for this AMAZING body paint. Sorry that I didn’t get many photos before the makeup started to wear down. 😭

Go hit that mix on SoundCloud and tell me what you think. 🙂‍↕️

This Saturday night, we’re taking SXTPS to the jungle. 🐅
Let’s make the most of this last leg of the summer.

All the nastiness of SXTPS with that primal heat, bound to leave you walking funny after. 😈

Beats by @drdomenergy, @ashleyyounnia, and yours truly.

NEW MIX 🚨

Just dropped my mix from Deviant: Physique at @redeye_ny in NYC. This was my first time playing in the Big Apple. To me, this mix is a benchmark of my DJ career in achievement, cohesion, and confidence.

I put a piece of my heart in this mix, drawing inspiration from many brilliant club kids and pioneers, including @hunyrocks and @iammontechristo; and applying notes and wisdom and some stolen IDs from my brother and mastermind @djcharleshawthorne.

Thanks to @deviantevents for putting the Kidd on. 😜😜

Get into these beats. Link in bio.

NEW MIX 🚨‼️

Get into my latest mix from @sxtps.exe at Folsom this last weekend. My GOD, when I tell you the energy was UNMATCHED. Just NASTY. 😮‍💨

San Francisco always shows me so much love, and this night didn’t disappoint. I’m back home and feeling so full from the outpouring of love.

Thank you to everyone on staff and each person that took time out of their weekend to spend a night with us. Thank you to @djcharleshawthorne for being such a solid rock in all of the craziness!

Definitely cannot wait to be back in the Bay!

Pics and things coming soon.

Mix on Soundcloud. Link in bio.

I’ve had these deep Afro house sounds on my spirit for quite some time now and nowhere to put or play them. Would y’all pop out if I did an Afro-house night? 🤔

Full mix headed to SoundCloud. 😈

i got an announcement 🚨‼️

i’m excited to announce that on my birthday, next saturday nov 2, i will be celebrating turning 31, and also launching my new weekly party, The Backroom, at DTLA’s newest LGBT nightclub. @backroom_dtla

this weekly party will be continuing the mission of SXTPS in creating space for Black and Brown folks to vibe, dance, and love on each other. this is a project thru which i will explore new territory in music, event promotion, and community building. there are plenty of big ideas in store!

i’m very excited and grateful for the support and opportunity to continue building space. furthermore, i would be extremely honored to share the night with you all. hit the RSVP link in my bio and mark your calendars, as we kickoff a new era in DTLA queer nightlife.

here’s to freaky times 🥂

see you next weekend. 🫶🏼

PS., thank you @chriscastillotattoo for the new Scorpio chest piece. got me together just in time. 💉🩸 by @bigworldlittlekidd

Lately I’ve just been trying to stay in my lane, and be selective on where I spend my energy. It’s been working out. Life is better. I’m a different human than I was last year.

Leaning into that I’m-forever-dying-and-rebirthing Scorpio energy got me attracting all the right vibes.
