Past, present and future came together in Wapping 💛

Year 5 and 6 pupils from Hermitage Primary School recently joined us and Galliford Try to bury a time capsule beneath our new Big Yellow store development.

Inside? A snapshot of life in 2026, featuring everything from a newspaper and friendship bracelets to slime.

The pupils then toured the new store and explored archaeological artefacts discovered on site, including pottery, tiles and historic tobacco pipes.

Thank you to everyone who helped create such a memorable day, giving local children a chance to learn about their area’s history and see a major construction project up close. by @bigyellowselfstorage

Celebrating World Wildlife Day💚

Creating space for wildlife is an important part of how we create thriving environments for nature and the communities around them. That’s why we’ve introduced nesting boxes for birds, bats, and bees across our stores, helping to create habitats that support local wildlife.

We are helping biodiversity thrive, one habitat at a time. by @bigyellowselfstorage
