Some work news! I've got my first contract! I've officially joined Radio 1 as the early Content Assistant for the next four months. I'll be working on two magnificent shows: Breakfast with Greg plus Rickie, Melvin & Charlie. I love working on the eighth floor so much, and I'm really excited for a Radio 1 Summer 🌞 by @biilyedwards

It's been two years since my first day at the BBC! A few weeks ago I attended The Big Welcome induction day at Television Centre. I was very excited to visit, having read so much about it in BBC histories, and I had a great time!

'The Music is Black: A British Story' at V&A East. An amazing exhibition, a must-see. I was pleased to see Carroll Thompson's 'Hopelessly In Love' coat, the Voodoo Ray bass machine, and memorabilia from Charlie Watts' jazz collection! Near the end, I was moved, too, after seeing the chord sheet to Armatrading's 'Love and Affection', two qualities that clearly informed each display. As you walk around, the music in your headphones changes depending on where you're standing, like a DJ system swimming in and out of your ears. It thrilled me. On until January by @biilyedwards
