I am delighted to announce that a month ago I successfully defended my doctoral thesis at Akdeniz University in Antalya, Turkey. This marks the culmination of an incredible journey. My thesis, titled 'Research on the Use of Social Media by Africa-Focused Non-Governmental Organisations in Turkey: Instagram Example', is a project that I will always cherish. Not only did it mark a milestone in my intellectual growth, but it also represented my contribution to the body of knowledge on the phenomenon under study.

Looking back, it was an amazing experience! I've been through so much with this project, from the conception to the realisation of the whole adventure. It's been a wild ride, and I wouldn't change a thing! My PhD journey has been an absolute blessing! It has enabled me to become more confident, diligent, and resilient. There were moments of pure joy and triumph, of digging deep and uncovering insights, of analyzing and getting surprising results, of feeling the rush of excitement and the sting of frustration, of sharin 1g ideas and getting feedback, of coding and refining, of brainstorming and learning, of reaching conclusions and facing confusion. It is amazing now to look back in time and see how it all connects. I truly treasure each of those moments for making me a better person.
