From August 11, 2022: I’ve been going to OSU women’s ice hockey games since they started the team in 1999. It’s always been a good time.
Six years ago dad started going to games with me. He joined at a great time with a new coach that has transformed the program socially, academically and athletically. The 6 years culminated with winning the National Championship this past season. Dad was so happy for them.
On January 8, 2022, the OSU Women’s Ice Hockey Team recognized dad, a 1950 Ohio State graduate, with a Scarlet and Gray Salute as a WW2 and Korea veteran. Dad was so impressed with them taking the time to recognize him.
Today we received a plant from The OSU Women’s Ice Hockey Team for dad’s funeral. I was like , WOW! Thanks to Coach Muzerall, the staff and players for remembering and honoring dad.
