Favourite fencing frames

The goal was to make the young fencers look as epic as possible — so lots of low angles and wide lens shots, getting as close as possible without getting poked

In order to restore the health of the ocean we can’t keep thinking of ourselves as separate from the environment 🌊

🧟‍♀️Zombie urchins don’t eat brains…they feast on kelp, and that’s a big problem for California’s kelp forests.

🐠These vital marine ecosystems have been overrun by purple urchins leaving thriving habitats barren.

☠️The scary part is that purple urchins can survive for years without food, so even when all the kelp is gone they keep living…

⭐️Luckily @healthebayaquarium have a plan. Sunflower sea stars love to eat purple urchins, but they’re currently facing extinction. By growing new sea star populations in their aquaculture facility and rewilding them in coastal waters, the hope is to bring the ecosystem into balance.
