Monday is another reminder that God can change a life.

Today I’m grateful for two victories that once seemed impossible.

I’m free from pain pills.

I’m free from alcohol.

Neither happened overnight. Both took faith, perseverance, and a decision to keep choosing recovery one day at a time.

There were days I didn’t think I’d ever get here. But every day without picking up became another brick in the foundation of a new life.

If you’re struggling today, don’t give up. You don’t have to conquer the rest of your life—you just have to make it through today. Then do it again tomorrow.

“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.”
— 2 Corinthians 5:17

I’m thankful for the freedom God has given me, and I’m looking forward to whatever He has planned next.
