It’s a dreary day here in Austin, but don’t worry! In addition to the burners you heard in my last few posts, we’ve got some rainy day music on tap for this evening @monksjazz, including this @bobdylan classic. There are still a precious few seats available for the 8pm set, and the 10pm will likely fill up with walk-ins so get those tickets now! If you aren’t in Austin, you can also purchase tickets to the livestream! Just follow the link in my bio or go to monksjazz.com

Next Friday night, 11/21, this incredible band is back @monksjazz for two sets of original music! There’ll be some jazzy vibes, some funky vibes, some folky vibes, some proud of yourself for knowing where 1 is vibes, some of whatever the hell this vibe is, and much more. This is a clip from my politically charged and possibly intentionally atonal tune Goo Gone. Get tickets now at the link in my bio, or at monksjazz.com!

Dear family and friends, this past weekend @katimarq and I had to say good bye to our first baby, my first dog, the sweetest floof Bandie Dog Satterwhite. We found her in a bar in Bandera, TX in January 2013 and brought her home off the street and gave her a loving home. She was the quintessential dog - Loved all forms of food, gave the best floppy hug snuggles, rolled in all the stinky things should could find, and greeted every human she met with a wagging tail and hot dog breath. She was my first dog, and the absolute perfect first dog. We gave her the best last day we could. Loads of snacks like bacon, cinnamon rolls, ice cream, and an entire cheeseburger (see the video), a trip to the creek, and so so so much love. Our pack is already missing her so damn much. Those of you that knew her know, she was one of a kind. by @billyplaysbass
