I am now turning my pain into purpose Most of you know that my mother passed away unexpectedly on January 9th. So since I was 11 years old I had a dream to write a Huge check for 1 Million dollars to help under privilege kids and families because I came from nothing and yesterday I was SO blessed to live out that dream to the best charity i know of and it helps kids and families here in Las Vegas.I am so honored to now be a part of these organization and work with Pastor Mike and his family and team! @hopeforthecity#givingback #merrychristmas by @billywo

Day 2 of the Mohr family reunion was great! I met over 60 cousins I have never met before which was cool. Tomorrow I met over 50 more they said.. im excited to hear their stories and more about them. The Mohr family is VERY large and mainly known bc of a little song called "Silent Night" that people sing at Christmas around the world from my great great great uncle Joseph Mohr who was a priest. Here is the story On a cold Christmas Eve in 1818, Mohr walked the three kilometres from his home in Oberndorf bei Salzburg to visit his friend Franz Xaver Gruber in the neighbouring town of Arnsdorf bei Laufen. Mohr brought with him a poem he had written some two years earlier. He needed a carol for the Christmas Eve midnight Mass that was only a few hours away, and hoped his friend, a school teacher who also served as the church's choir master and organist, could set his poem to music.[2]The song was sung at Midnight Mass in a simple arrangement for guitar and choir. Various legends have sprung up over the years concerning the genesis of "Silent Night", but the simplest and likeliest explanation seems to have been that Mohr simply wanted an original song that he could play on his favourite instrument, the guitar.[3] Within a few years, arrangements of the carol appeared in churches in the Salzburg Archdiocese and folk singers from the Ziller Valley were taking the composition on tours around Europe.Whats something cool you learned or know about YOUR family?#Silentnight#gospelmusic#Christmasmusic by @billywo

How many people do you know were told that you have "ADHD or Dyslexia" or both PLUS a few more things? They also threw in OCD to me also. The US Air Force LOVED ALL of those qualities and GIFTS I was given. If your child is "diagnosed" with these WORDS tell your child CONGRATULATIONS... YOU ARE SO DIFFERENT/SPECIAL YOU HAVE "SUPER POWERS"instead of making it sound like something is wrong with them. Life is already hard enough on kids its how YOU as a parent help them FEEL and grow into those "Strengths" Help them understand God has something special planned for them and they have the "opportunity" to do some really cool things once they know how to use those "SKILLS" or "Blessings"Perception is KEY What did the "doctors" say was wrong with you when you were young?Tag or share with someone who needs to hear this 🙏#Parents #adhd #dyslexia #earlylearning #mindset by @billywo
