THE FLOATING POOL DECK

CANT AFFORD TO REMOVE YOUR POOL? Don’t worry we got you covered

A KEY POINTS TO NOTE:

-Proposed plan from Client was to build a deck flush with pool coping that was to be built without any fixings into the pool structure.

-NO FIXINGS INTO THE POOL STRUCTURE means when they are willing to sell or if they want the pool back it is easily dismantled and the swimming pool can be refilled and back in working order at any time.

-The Client was struggling to find a carpenter, after numerous site inspections with many walking away saying it’s not possible or scratching their head he found myself. I came up with a plan and sent through some sketches which the client was happy with. (You can’t even google “how to fill a pool with decking”)

-The pool hydrostat was opened to prevent ground-water pressure from raising the pool.

-There is a water pump in the deep end to deal with rain water.

-Structure bottom rails 90x90 h4 are supported with plastic post supports which then have a post/bearer/joist set up.

-There is a access hatch at the end of pool for maintenance.

-The clients were elderly in there 70s and had no use for a pool anymore, although they did want to keep the pool for resale purposes.

-There are dogs who reside at the property who can now use this area unsupervised.

-The pool was not damaged with this system.
