holy moly!!! another year around the sun!! i am so unbelievably grateful for all the people that o have met and loved and learned from and grown with, and am thrilled that i am alive and have the opportunity to keep growing. if you told my teenage self in certain years that i would be thrilled to overcome each new challenge and take each new opportunity that faces me, i likely would’ve rolled my eyes. but things change!!! and you can always revive your light and lust for life. i am so grateful to be in touch with mine again, and you can definitely see that im feeling it in these photos. 🐞

styling and creative direction by me!

huge thank you to my photographer and one of my dearest friends, @connorordonez , for capturing me the way i see myself :,) it feels so beautiful to see this creative perception of me through my friends eyes 🦢 by @bimbocomputers

“Anatomy of Girlhood” 2024

this piece features four photos i took from ages 15-17, the ages i felt most radical in utilizing the freedom accessible to me to not only represent myself, but hopefully also those who need it the most. that period of time was the most fearless and shameless that i have ever been in my self love and activism journeys. since then, event after event has happened both on a global and personal scale, that crushed that hope and rebellion within me. recently, after coming out of my creative burnout, that past version of myself has been my muse and inspiration, so this is a piece decided to that “me”. thank u if u read these ramblings 🐇

“God’s Dealer”, 2024, detail shots

shot by @home_paige and i, styled by me, creative direction by me, editing by me

here are some sneak peak detail shots of the project that got me out of my creative burn out! this is the first art piece I have put my whole heart into in a long time, and i’m very excited to share it next. this piece focuses on religious trauma, and definitely is a dash sac-religious. had to do a detail teaser before i posted the main course though!

“Ready to Pounce, Ready to Run” 2024

photography, editing and graphic design all by me

shot with Sony Cybershot

edited in Figma

finally getting back into creating and it feels SO good. i am so excited to put my art account that has been comatose for so long back into good use! being in a creative block as someone who thrives on living life in a creative pursuit is exhausting, and i got there due to burnout, which im sure many can relate to. even though we live in a hyper-capitalistic society where we are taught to try to monetize any skill we have, artists, please remember to be kind to yourself. art is meant to fuel us, not drain us. if you got this far ily, go make some art!!!
