“When someone wants to keep you around but has no intention of choosing you, they usually do this…”🤔

For me, it wasn’t a person.

It was a job that kept me comfortable but not growing.
It was distractions that made me busy but not purposeful.

I was earning, showing up, ticking boxes… but deep down I knew I wasn’t becoming the man I wanted to be.

The hardest truth?

Not everything that’s secure is meant to be permanent.

The moment I stopped building a comfortable life and started building a meaningful one, everything changed.

I put my faith first.
I invested in myself.
I chose growth over comfort.

I’m still building.

Not just my chances, but opportunities .
Not just my finances, but my freedom.

Because anything that keeps you around but never calls you higher isn’t helping you build the life you’re meant to live.

Build with purpose.

What’s one thing you’ve had to let go of so you could become who you’re meant to be? by @bimthebuilder

Sometimes I think a lot of millennial men are quietly grieving the life they thought they’d have by now.

I thought by this stage I’d be married, financially free, and raising a family of my own.

Life had other plans.

For a while, I saw that as falling behind.

Now I see it differently.

Construction has taught me something I’ll never forget: the strongest foundations take the longest to build.

The things worth having aren’t built overnight. They take time, setbacks, patience, and the willingness to keep showing up even when nobody notices the progress.

I’m still building.

Not just a career, but my character.
Not just wealth, but wisdom.
Not just a future family, but the man they’ll deserve.

Maybe the timeline isn’t wrong.

Maybe the foundation just needs to be strong enough to carry what’s coming.

Build with purpose, not pressure.

What’s one thing you thought you’d have by now, and what has the journey taught you instead? by @bimthebuilder
