Sending all my love straight to the bottom. Im a Raq baby & i spent my entire childhood on the frontlines. Today, which is not my birthday for the ones in the back, i just want to honor every version of me that spent time surviving and adjusting to the palettes of others. i quit playing music. i gave clean tf up on it and its sad bc everybody WAS rooting for me to make it in that industry. Truth be told I only started playing bass and guitar because i was severely depressed and had su!c!dal thoughts as a youngster. I stated playing bass in valley park and it truly was my saving grace! if ykyk. But All the songs & the words i need to say have already been written by someone else so, I probably wont drop music until i feel back aligned to. I will use my voice tho. I left all my instruments back home to study my voice and we here babe. by @binabuddrfly

I apologize but i needed distance from everything and every one. Baby between being sad about my past, and it turning into a pure rage and resentment for the present, I had to step back before I freaking vanish myself. I feel so loved and grateful for every soul that sat with me while I was in the dark. Ngl, I miss days like this. Its so much i learned from my mama. Mainly her dedication to keeping my family nice and fed. She always say as long as you have rice and potatoes, you have a meal. She also said, as long as I owe you you’ll never be broke lol #NiggaNeedThat lmao. I’m extremely grateful for the distance between us that makes me notice the intricacies of our life and relationship. I might have a lot to say today and be mute tomorrow, it just depends w me & that’s OK. What I do know is that lack of expression held the door for depressive seasons and we ain’t going there no moe.
