॥ ग़ज़ल • غزل Sept 23, 2023 تمہیں کھویا، تو کدھر جائیں گے؟ تم سا پائیں گے، جدھر جائیں گے! کبھی ملے تو، ٹھہر کے دیکھیں گے اور پھر دیکھ کر، مکر جائیں گے! ہم اپنے ماضی پہ شک کریں گے، پھر اپنے حال سے، گذر جائیں گے! ہم سے نہ پوچھ، اے بچھڑنے والے، ہم نہیں جانتے، کدھر جائیں گے! تم کو جانا ہے، چلے جائو تم! ہم کچھ دیر تک، ٹھہر جائیں گے۔ وقت آئے گا، بھاگ نکلیں گے وقت آنے پہ، بکھر جائیں گے! اس نے آنے سے، بہت روکا ہے کتنا اُچھلے گا، اگر جائیں گے! तुम्हें खोया, तो किधर जाएँगे? तुम सा पाएँगे, जिधर जाएँगे! कभी मिले तो, ठहर के देखेंगे और फिर देख कर, मुकर जाएँगे! हम अपने माज़ि पे शक करेंगे, फिर अपने हाल से, गुज़र जाएँगे! हम से ना पूछ, ऐ बिछड़ने वाले, हम नहीं जानते, किधर जाएँगे! तुमको जाना है, चले जाओ तुम! हम कुछ देर तक, ठहर जाएँगे। वक़्त आएगा, भाग निकलेंगे वक़्त आने पे, बिखर जाएँगे! इसने आने से, बहुत रोका है, कितना उछलेगा, अगर जाएँगे! ~ पूर्वी پُوربی by @binatee_

نظم ॥ दराड़ • دراڑ Sept 22, 2023 تمہارے بعد بھی کتنا مکمل ہوں میں منظم، متحمل، اس قدر متوازن کہ گرتا نہیں ہوں بکھرتا نہیں ہوں۔ کس قدر بیکار بھی کسی کے کام نہیں آتا۔ جو بھی دیکھے چونک جائے نہ پاس آئے، نہ ہاتھ لگائے۔ دراڑ زدہ برتن کی طرح کونے میں پڑا سوچتا رہتا ہوں مجھ میں کیا کمی ہے؟ بس اتنی؟! کہ جتنی تُو کبھی آکر بھی پوری نہ کر سکے۔ तुम्हारे बाद भी कितना मुकम्मल हूँ मैं मंज़म, मुतहम्मिल, इस क़दर मुताज़िम कि गिरता नहीं हूँ बिखरता नहीं हूँ। किस क़दर बेकार भी किसी के काम नहीं आता। जो भी देखे चौंक जाए न पास आए, न हाथ लगाए। दरार ज़दा बर्तन की तरह कोने में पड़ा सोचता रहता हूँ मुझ में क्या कमी है? बस इतनी?! कि जितनी तू कभी आकर भी पूरी नहीं कर सके। ✍️ ~ पूर्वी پُوربی 🖼 ~ Piterest by @binatee_

Don’t fall in love with a woman who laughs or cries making love, knows how to turn her spirit into flesh; let alone one that loves poetry (these are the most dangerous), or spends half an hour contemplating a painting and isn't able to live without music. Don’t fall in love with a woman who is interested in politics and is rebellious and feels a huge horror from injustice. One who does not like to watch television at all. Or a woman who is beautiful no matter the features of her face or her body. Don’t fall in love with a woman who is intense, entertaining, lucid, and irreverent. Don’t wish to fall in love with a woman like that.
