*SOLD* Who else is a sucker for hallmarks, antique gold, & conversions with a story? I figured it was time for this beauty of history’s spot on the grid. 2 stick chains, one from 1916, the other 1921 in perfect union. 1916, solid 14k YG, 1921 YG/WG/RG. Combining to a perfect length of 27” (the ultimate long layer length in my humble opinion) last photo for reference. Options with this conversion are truly endless. Wrap for bracelet, or detach and wear them as a shorter length choker. Each with a set of dog clip clasps & all their antique glory. Happy International Women’s day. To those kicking ass, and to those too afraid to. Not my typical post. I’ve always been an against the grain woman. To know me, is to know me as a bad ass bitch in some circles and chivalrous in others (this is a joke relax). Don’t conform to what you think others might be most comfortable with. People wake up in their fifties, seventies, so on realizing they just now have to build their script. They spent their lives building it for others, sometimes not even knowing it. March to the beat of your own drum and take risks. Many risks. Act loudly. Disappoint people. Speak your mind even when it hurts others and don’t apologize for it as long as your intention was noble. If it wasn’t, still don’t apologize. Break rules. Lots of them. Remember it’s never to late to recourse. Never too late to do something a little differently even if it does not feel entirely natural. Fake it to make it. Make it and write about it. Embody what it’s like to fail and to endure great success as we all will in different parts of our lives. Claim it. Embrace being a woman, one stronger than any man, woman, anything in between if you choose to be. HIWD. Happy however it is you identify day.
