Hello 47.

After you have a baby and you start to age, it can feel like you get further from yourself. People will tell you don't lose that person that you were before. But they don't explain that it's inevitable. That you will grieve who you once were. It gets harder to stay true to you and what you want and what gives you joy, not joy that makes your children happy or your spouse or other people in your life. Joy truly for you. For some of us, true self love can be hard, it requires work. One thing I know is I am grateful. ❤️🤍 Grateful to my mom and dad for bringing me in to this world and giving me a solid foundation for the journey. Grateful for my husband who has grown and evolved with me in the second phase of my life. Grateful to plan our future, growing old together.

I'm on the countdown to 50 and I want to make it there finding what truly brings me joy. I want to get to know who I have evolved into over these years of being shaped by the people I have met and my family growing. I don't want to wait until the kids are gone and suddenly say where did my life go, who am I now?

So I am looking forward to it all, the highs and the lows, grateful to being living really ❤️ Thank you all for the birthday wishes!

Kudos to my teammates for organizing HR Summer Camp this week! Every day we spent an hour together on something to bond us together and then on Friday we took a Harbor Cruise to finish the week. Grateful for the team I have ❤️
